o AtomShockwave Sells Short Films to Showtime Networks

New York -- Cable TV's Showtime Networks announced on Tuesday that it has
licensed a package of up to 100 short films from AtomShockwave, the
company created by the merger between Atom Films and Shockwave.com.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Showtime said the films
will debut on their recently-launched, youth-oriented channel Showtime
Next, later appearing on other Showtime channels. San Francisco-based
AtomShockwave will also provide 50 short films from its catalogue to
Showtime Next's website.

o Concurrent to Provide Video On-Demand Servers to Comcast Cable

Atlanta -- Concurrent Computer Corporation, a provider of digital video
servers, announced on Tuesday that Comcast Cable will purchase 79 of its
video servers to deploy video on-demand (VOD) services to portions of its
8.4 million subscribers. Eight VOD deployments will be launched this year
by Comcast, which will be available to its subscribers equipped with
Motorola DCT-2000 and Scientific Atlanta Explorer set-top systems, among
others.

announced on Tuesday that it will syndicate its library of 3.5 million
previews of movies, TV shows, songs and video games to Microsoft's
WindowsMedia.com, broadband provider InfoSpace and Tribune media company's websites. Financial terms of the deals were not disclosed. Sherman
Oaks-based FirstLook's content includes exclusive celebrity interviews,
"behind-the-scenes" footage and text-based information on each

temporarily on Monday due to the large number of visitors wanting to hear
audio streams of opening day games, CNET reported. MLB.com recently
announced a deal with Seattle-based RealNetworks to stream audio

(New York) CBS on Tuesday announced the launch of David Copperfield's
"Dream Portal" to coincide with the airing of the illusionist's "Tornado
of Fire" special on the network. The site was designed by New York-based

(San Diego) Sony Online Entertainment announced on Tuesday that it is now
offering the CD-ROM necessary to play EverQuest, its massively multiplayer
online roleplaying game, for $9.99. Users must pay a monthly subscription
fee of $9.89 once they install the game to participate in the
constantly-updated online version. San Diego-based Sony Online
Entertainment said that it has sold over one million EverQuest units to
date.

be used by Muze, a provider of entertainment product information for
