30 Reasons to Attend Plug.IN -- July 8-9 - NYC

Reason #6: See how else the labels hedge their bets next.
Last week Sony Music and Universal announced plans for cheaper a la carte
downloads that also include improved portability. Does this undermine the
subscription services that the labels support? And should retail partners
be worried that next labels will open discount outlets right next to music
megastores? Probably not, but whatever else IS in the works you are likely
to hear about first onstage at Plug.IN.
